Making the Future Possible Through the Brewster Place Foundation

The mission of the Brewster Place Foundation is to provide long-term financial support to Brewster Place Retirement Community, generating resources to support and enrich the quality of life of our community both now and in the future.

The Brewster Place Foundation benefits from endowed funds. With a policy ensuring that only 5% of the endowment is annually used for important projects, the principal amount will continue to grow over time. A committee of leading community investment professionals shepherds the endowment with an investment strategy focused on long-term growth.

The Brewster Place Foundation gratefully accepts donations of any amount. A donor to the Brewster Place Foundation may establish a named fund by donating a minimum gift of $10,000. This gift may be given, if the donor wishes, over a period of time.

The Brewster Place Foundation gratefully accepts gifts of:

  • Cash

  • Securities

  • Real Estate

  • Life Insurance

Gifts may be unrestricted to support projects of special importance to Brewster or may be restricted by you and/or your family for a particular Foundation fund.

The Foundation would also be pleased to visit with you about a deferred gift, including:

  • A gift through your Will

  • A charitable gift annuity (earn a guaranteed annual income while receiving a charitable income tax deduction)
