Brewster
Place offers three convenient
payment plans. We can help you with the process of picking the one
best suited to your needs.
Life Accommodation Plan
The Life Accommodation Plan includes a
one-time entry fee amortized over an eight-year period. Twenty-five percent
of the entry fee is nonrefundable. If you vacate your Brewster Place home
to reside in the Brewster Health Center during the amortized period, the
balance is used for care in the Brewster Health Center. Any balance is
refunded to your estate if you die during the amortized period. Twenty-five
percent of the entry fee is due upon signing a contract for your Brewster
Place home, with the balance due upon occupancy.
Estate
Preservation Plan
The Estate Preservation Plan is similar
to the Life Accommodation Plan in that it requires a one-time entry fee;
however, the plan is non-amortized and you get to choose the amount
available for refund to your estate – 75%, 90% or 100% of the entry fee. If
you vacate your Brewster Place home to reside in the Brewster Health Center,
you may utilize this balance for care at the Brewster Health Center.
Twenty-five percent of the entry fee is due upon signing a contract for your
Brewster Place home, with the balance due upon occupancy.
Monthly Plan
The monthly plan includes a one-time
non-refundable entry fee of $6,000 for one person or $10,000 for a couple.
The entry fee is due upon signing a contract for your Brewster Place home.
Cottages are not included with this option.
Why is there an entry fee at
Brewster Place?
Your entry fee
is used to
maintain, refurbish and upgrade the homes and common areas at
Brewster Place and to fund capital purchases. This helps us continue our
traditions of a picturesque campus, spacious lobbies and meeting places, and
elegant dining facilities. In addition, your entry fee supports the ongoing
operations of Brewster Place. |
